About the role:
We are hiring for a Distributor Manager who is responsible for developing, engaging with a mix of channels and end users to ensure that budgeted annual sales, profit objectives, and strategic goals are delivered for:
- The Channel Partner network of Yourgene Health in assigned territories
Overall responsibility:
The Distributor Manager is responsible for overall management of Yourgene Health’s revenues in assigned channel partner territories; developing and driving sales growth programs to ensure the channel partners in emerging markets deliver on strategic initiatives and revenue targets. This position requires a very high degree of cross-functional leadership and organizational skills, creativity and critical thinking, and proven written and verbal communication skills.
Key areas of responsibility:
- Responsible for the delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales revenue targets, provision of detailed sales territory plans in key strategic markets and execution of these by building and maintaining long term relationships with direct customers and channel partners.
- Defining the channel strategy in assigned territories, including the identification of key market segments.
- Contribute to the delivery of annual sales and marketing plans in the EMEA region.
- Qualify and progress sales team leads through active customer management.
- Build and maintain long term relationships with customers and channel partners.
- Conduct and document quarterly business review and growth plans with channel partners.
- Drive recruitment of channel partners to expand into new markets.
- Mentoring and coaching channel partners on the Yourgene Health product range and sales process in order to drive increased revenue and shorten the sales cycle.
- In conjunction with the VP of Sales, EMEA, negotiate channel partner contracts, revenue forecasting, sales and support terms.
- Liaise with marketing functions in order to engage and enlist partners to execute lead generation programs, pipeline stimulus programs and joint planning efforts.
- Become the reproductive genetic health and oncology subject matter expert for the assigned markets; provide key input on assigned market requirements to support development of future Yourgene Health products.
- Work through channel partners to develop and nurture a KOL network per market.
- Attend and contribute to relevant scientific meetings to maintain awareness of new molecular biological techniques, competitor landscape and new product opportunities.
- Contribute to the maintenance of a customer relationship management (CRM) database.
- Comply with all Health, Safety, UK Bribery Act systems.
- Comply with all Quality Systems.
Qualifications, Skills & Abilities:
- A degree/PhD in Life Sciences ideally with genetics or molecular biology focus.
- 5+ years of sales experience with preference for experience with PCR and/or Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) based technologies in the clinical testing area is desirable.

Sunday 28th April, 2024. This is a fixed term contract for 18 months.
