Description of role:
The Inside Sales Executive will own the relationship with long-term PCR customers and be key in identifying new business opportunities, ensuring a strong base for regional growth.
Overall responsibility:
The Inside Sales Executive is responsible for managing the customer base for Yourgene Health clinical PCR customers, for identifying and qualifying new opportunities across the range of products, and for feeding back market needs. This position requires good written and oral communication skills, good organisational approach, and a desire to partner with other members of the sales team.
Key areas of responsibility:
- Managing the customer relationship with PCR customers in assigned territories
- Expanding sales opportunities with existing customers, moving beyond current products
- Identifying and qualifying new opportunities across the key Yourgene portfolio – PCR, NIPT, Ranger technology
- Drive tenders where necessary
- Collaborating with the EMEA marketing team to build visibility of Yourgene Health products
- The delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales revenue targets
- Attend and contribute to relevant scientific meetings to maintain awareness of new molecular biological techniques, competitor landscape and new product opportunities
- Contribute to the maintenance of a customer relationship management (CRM) database
- Comply with all Health, Safety, UK Bribery Act systems
- Comply with all Quality Systems.
Consults with:
- Senior sales leadership, regional sales team, Customer Service, Marketing, Technical Support, Supply Chain.
Qualifications, Skills and Abilities
- A degree in Life Sciences ideally with genetics or molecular biology focus.
- 2+ years of inside sales experience with preference for experience selling clinical genetics and clinical genomics products.
- English and French language skills.
